Blue Flames Sporting Club is the main venue for Tyne and Wear netball events. The venue has 3 indoor netball courts, changing facilities and on-site parking. The venue has ample space for spectators both on court side and via the large windows which look onto the courts. BLUE FLAMES RULES
- Spectators may come in to the sports hall, but must stay behind the spectator lines against the corridor walls. Although there is no line painted yet, there is a clear ending to the sports surface and the start of the normal concrete surface.
- Children under 5 must be supervised at all times. Pushchairs are not allowed in the sports hall.
- No food or drink to be consumed in the sports hall, except for non-spill sports bottles for players only. Spectators are not allowed to drink in the sports hall.
- No outdoor footwear allowed in the sports hall.
- Teams waiting to come on to a court must wait in the corridor or function room until the court is available.
- Users please note that when there is a change of sport, i.e. from tennis to netball, and vice versa, sports hall staff will require 5 – 10 minutes to change equipment.
