County Junior League
TWCNA offers a league competition for Under 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16 age groups. The fixtures are played (currently) on Sunday afternoons, at Blue Flames. Venue and timings are subject to court availability. The league runs from late September until mid May.
The League is organised by the TWCNA County Committee but the match days are managed by the team officials present on the day – Coaches, Umpires, etc.. who undertake the timing, scoring, reporting of results and ensuring the fixtures run smoothly.
Entry is open to any Club based in Tyne and Wear or in our neighbouring counties. All participants must be full members of England Netball. Umpires are provided for all matches, with the cost included in the league fees. Mentoring opportunities can be provided for umpires training for their Into or C Awards.
