I have played netball since I was 8 years old and during my time of involvement I have been a player, coach, umpire, volunteer, committee member and board member.
I am passionate about netball particularly within Tyne and Wear. I have always been impressed by the efforts, time and dedication of the Committee members and those who contribute and support netball in Tyne and Wear.
With what is a very exciting and huge time for growth in the Sport I am excited to work with the Committee to continue the brilliant work and operation of netball in the County and look to the future and develop the County in a way which is tailored to its specific needs.

Coaching Officer - Mark Scott
I’m passionate about all things coaching! I work for UK Coaching as Development Lead for Modern Learning and we are trying to develop independent and reflective coaches through changing the culture of coach learning. I hope I can bring some of this to this role in Tyne and Wear. My background is in football and I have played, coached and mentored coaches at various levels and I’m also an active tutor for the FA. With links to the Percy family, I have no choice but getting involved in netball! This has led to me supporting coaches at Riverside NC and the County Academy over the past few years.
