England Netball Membership Procedures
The adult membership fee is made up of three parts that go to:
- England Netball – this pays for your insurance and contributes to the income of our National Governing Body.
- North East Region – goes to the North East Regional Netball Association to help fund regional development initiatives and competitions.
- Tyne and Wear County – goes to your County Association and is our income to fund the work done to develop coaches and umpires, run the county association, subsidise our competitions and contribute to junior development and performance.
Your England Netball membership is processed online via the ENgage system – all players, coaches, umpires, safeguarding officers or anyone participating formally in Tyne and Wear County League Competitions:
Note the exceptions below:
A T&W Club player whose Primary Club is in another county association, for example a student in the area for their studies, must pay the ‘additional player’ fee of £10 to play for their T&W Club in the county leagues. They should to this by attaching themselves to their T&W Club on ENgage (this is in addition to their primary club) which will result in a £5 fee payable through ENgage. The remaining £5 should be paid through their Club direct to the County Association.
Players of non-Tyne & Wear County Clubs in the County Leagues
Our County League has a small number of Clubs who are based in neighbouring county associations. Players playing for these clubs must each pay an ‘additional player’ fee of £10. This should be paid by the Club direct to the County Association.
Players who play for two Clubs in the County Leagues
A player playing for a two Clubs in the County League must pay the ‘additional player’ fee of £10 for their ‘second’ club. This should be paid via their Club direct to the County Association.
