Summer League 2022 - COMING SOONThe Summer League is played indoors at Blue Flames Sporting Club. It is a stand-alone league open to entries each season with groups of teams designed based on entries received. There is no relegation and promotion between seasons.
Commencing in late July or early August and running through to early September, teams usually get 5/6 matches over the course of 6/7 weeks. To take part all players and officials must be affiliated to England Netball. Teams can be made up of players from any club or combination of clubs and the rules around ‘playing up’ and ‘seconds’ are usually very flexible to ensure that matches are played. Clubs should check the league rules before confirming their entries as the rules do change depending upon circumstances. Trainee C umpires who have been mentored in the county leagues may also umpire with a mentor in the lower division. Often trainees are allowed to umpire ‘with’ an approved mentor rather than having to have one on the side line. League fees are set once entries and matches are confirmed.
