Winter Season 2011/2012
The County Winter and Spring Leagues are our main adult competition. The Winter League consists of around 90 teams. The season runs from September to February and matches are played on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. All games are played at a central venue – Blue Flames Sporting Club.
All players and umpires taking part must be affiliated to England Netball. Umpires must be qualified to C Award level and B Award level to umpire in the first division.
Entry to the Winter League takes place at the county's AGM in July.

Winter League Winners Congratulations to all the teams who took part in the recently completed Tyne and Wear County Winter League. Once again we had a lot of excellent matches up and down the divisions and many of the promotions and relegations weren't decided until the last few weeks of the season.
