Jo Ishida, a Sandyford player for around 20 years had to stop playing last year due to being treated for breast cancer. Thankfully with the support of Macmillan Jo is now on the road to recovery. Walking has been a key part of her recovery programme and she will be doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in order for her to give something back to the charity.
The Three Peaks, Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, form part of the Pennine range and encircle the head of the valley of the river Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
