Active North Tyneside aims to encourage everybody across the borough to become more physically active. 

What is the Active North Tyneside Community Fund?
Active North Tyneside has introduced a community fund for local community groups, organisations and registered charities who provide a service in North Tyneside to get local communities active. Priority will be given to applications which target people living in the 20% most deprived areas of North Tyneside. Please contact the team for further details.
Applicants can apply for support of up to £500, however applications exceeding this may be considered. The Community fund is open until February 1, 2016. All projects must be completed by March 31 2016. Applications can be made at any time until then and applicants will receive written confirmation within four weeks of whether or not they have been successful. • Facility hire charges
  
• Instructor or sports coach costs
  
• Transport to and from an activity
  
• Purchase or hire of equipment

Following the AGM entries will be taken for the 2015 Winter County League.  All clubs wishing to re-enter the league must send two delegates from their club to the meeting.  League Fees will also be payable on the night.  The League Fee for the Winter season will be £170 per team.

The information for the 2015/2016 Satellite and County Academy Trials are now available.
Please note this nomination process is for the attention of Junior Club Coaches.

The trials for the Satellite Academy are as follows:
Where: Sports Central, Northumbria University.
When: Wednesday, 1 July 2015 5:30pm – 9pm.  
Registration: will take place 5:30pm – 6pm and the trials will start at 6pm. 
Please be aware the trials are for the satellite academies next year, therefore it is for players who in the new school year in September 2015 will be in Year 7, 8 or 9.
