Tyne and Wear Sport has launched the Club Bursary Scheme with the aim of providing clubs with the opportunity to increase and retain new participants and improve the current situation within their club.
Grants of between £100 and £500 will be available with a specific focus on providing clubs with the opportunity to purchase:

- Equipment – for example, balls, bibs, tennis racquets, mats, team strips (not individual clothing),
- Marketing material – for example, banners, flyers, pull up/pop up advertising
